On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Schengen Treaty in June 2010, a "European Museum" has been inaugurated in the village of Schengen, right at the border triangle between Luxembourg, Germany and France. The building also holds a café and a tourist information.
The venue accommodates a museum with showcases and multimedia touch screens. Integrated in the 32 showcases is fixed seating for 32 people. There is room to add about 18 more seats (theatre setup).
Meetings and lectures are possible on Mondays (full day) and in the morning on weekends. Availability for the rest of the week is on request. The 20 m2 foyer (public area) can moreover be used for receptions.
